Can We Know

Consider Aristotle, Emerson, Shakespeare, the dumbbell molecule which cannot turn left, the Sagan Tango forbidden by Pauli’s exclusion principle. Natural law absolute law. A speck of salt, 10 million billion sodium and chlorine atoms, more atoms than neurons in the human brain. Lead or fluff, cannon ball or bullet, incest as gross rather than holy. To know the why, not just the what, is the problem.
