Kathy Fore was born and raised in Long Beach, California. She got hooked on Renaissance literature and history in college, but she also spent five years tutoring high schoolers, so she got hooked on education, too. Kathy spent a summer interning in DC and a year working in LA, then moved to New York City a year ago to work on a PhD in English Lit. at Columbia University.
