Kayla Krut is a San Diego-born poet with an MFA from the University of Michigan, where she was the recipient of an Academy of American Poets prize. She taught and wrote in Vienna for 2017-2019 with the support of Fulbright, during which she was nominated for a Pushcart Prize. Kayla begins her PhD in Literature at UC Santa Cruz this fall.
